Every women would like to have beautiful skin.

Some women are blessed with good genes and therefore have beautiful skin that is smooth, blemish-free with a beautiful tone. When we look at these women, we can only envy them that they have such beautiful skin.

However, being blessed with good genes is one thing but, if you do not take care of your skin, it will degenerate and deteriorate eventually. So, you still need to spend time, effort and money to maintain your beautiful skin so that the ravages of time will not show up so soon on your skin.

One of the most important thing for good skin is nutrition. You must ensure that you eat properly and have nutritious food as the skin must be nourished with vitamins, nutrients, anti-oxidants and minerals for it to maintain its elasticity and porcelain-like appearance.

The best thing that you can do is to eat a lot of fruits, vegetables, grains, juices and water. As far as possible, eat organic food so that you are not exposed to pesticides that can accummulate in your body and eventually, show up in your skin. Drink plenty of freshly-squeezed fruit and vegetable juices as well as pure, distilled water so that your skin elasticity will be maintained. If you are dehydrated, the first thing you will notice is that your skin wil look terrible. Therefore, have at least 8 glasses of water everyday - this will also help to flush out toxins from your body and moisturize your skin.

Another important thing you can do is to stop smoking. Nicotine does a lot of terrible thing to your skin. The toxins in a cigarette is very bad for your skin. You will find that people who smoked a lot has skin that is dry, scaly and leather-like, because of all the accummulation of the toxins from the cigarettes that they have been smoking.

As far as possible, stay out of the sun. The UV rays will cause your skin to age faster. There are people who think that having a nice tan will look beautiful on them. However, as they age, all the ravages and harm from the sun will start showing up as blotches of discolouration, liver-spots and dryness. Therefore, remember to put a sunblock with at least SPF of at least 30 when you have to go out in the strong sun.

Of course, you also need to nourish your skin by using the correct skincare products.

Always remember to clean your skin of make-up when you returned home. Make-up wil clog your pours and prevent it from breathing. Therefore, less oxygen will get to the skin to nourish it. After cleaning it, you should us a good toner to regulate the chemical balance of your skin. Follow this with a good moisturizer all over your face and skin. Before you sleep, appy a noursihing night-cream and skin serum for good regeneration of the skin cells while you sleep.

In the morning, when you put on makeup, remember that “less is more”. Do not plaster too much makeup on your face as that would overload the balance of the skin. As far as possible, just apply a moisturizer with a sun block, follow by a light foundation and power to set it properly. Then, put a light blush on your cheeks and follow by a light brush of powder all over your face and you are done.
